Obituary Barbara Jean Parsons age 78 of Jonesville, VA was born May 22, 1942 in Pennington Gap, VA and passed away November 12, 2020 at Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA. She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Parsons, parents Mack and Lillie Gilliam, sister Sue Moore, and brother Ronnie Gilliam. She is also preceeded in death by her son-in-law Randy Harless, mother-in-law Gladys Parsons Hall, father in law George Parsons, and her step father-in-law Gay Hall. Barbara is survived her two sons Kelly Parsons (Kim), Warren Parsons, one daughter Regina Harless, one brother Jerry Gilliam (Jeanette), sister Janice Edwards (Charlie), seven grandchildren, one great Grandson, sister-in-law Barbara Benfield several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Province Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, November 16, 2020 at the Parsons Family Cemetery in Jonesville, VA.
