Barbara Corine Harless, 84, of Stickleyville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Lee Health and Rehab.

Barbara was born on March 2, 1939 in Giles County, Virginia to the late Leonard and Lena Hale Perdue. Barbara was a home maker and enjoyed loving and caring for her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Harless; son, Leonard Harless; brothers, Marvin, William, Jack, Whilem, Glenn, and Jerry Perdue; and sister, Clariece Faw.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Timmy Harless and wife Kim, Tommy Harless, and Dillard Harless; daughter, Angela Harless; grandchildren, Stephanie Hass and husband Shane, Ashley Lawson and husband Brian, Kayla Harless, Lee Harless, Alex Cody, Austin Harless and wife Madelyn, Daren Harless, and Zach Cody; sisters, Darlene Stafford and husband Sam, and Eleanor Stephens and husband Pete; along with several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Donald Robbins officiating.

A committal service will follow at Litton Cemetery in Stickleyville with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers.
