Audrey Lee Springen age 84 of Lee County,VA was born Wednesday, March 29, 1932 in Harlan, KY and passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Ridgecrest Manor Nursing Home in Duffield,VA. She enjoyed all aspects of life and was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence "Bunny" Springen and parents Joseph and Mary Ann Littrell also two brothers Clinton and Charles Littrell and one sister Rita Stanton. Audrey is survived by one son Joseph Lee Springen and wife Tammy of Appalachia,VA. One daughter Carolyn Johnson of Woodway, VA. She also leaves behind one brother Bernard Douglas and wife Kay Litterll of Kingsport,TN. One grandchild Eddie Johnson and one great-grandchild Drako Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap,VA with Rev. Kenneth Neeley officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM Wednesday until the time of the service. Graveside services will follow at the Powell Valley Cemetery in Dryden,VA.
