Arthur (Bud) Medley, age 85 of Pennington Gap, VA, went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2017. He served in the United States Air Force and was employed all of his life until he retired. Bud was a very kind hearted, moral and good man. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and time with his family and was a beloved dad and papaw. He is preceded in death by his parents Julian and Sallie Medley and brothers John and Floyd Medley. Bud is survived by his daughters Susie (Larry) Ruley, Sandy (Cranston) Bellamy and Sherrie Medley of Lee County, VA, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a brother Dave Medley of Greenville, TN and a sister Jean (Jim) Nixon of Albuquerque, NM as well as a host of other family members and lifelong friends. A graveside service was held Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA with Trent Moody officiating.
