Anna Lee Peggs age 80 of the Lovelady Gap Community in Dryden, VA was born Thursday, October 10, 1935 in Abingdon, VA and passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at her home. She had been a homemaker and a member of the Rameys Chapel Church on Big Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Peggs, a daughter Kathleen Peggs and two sons Harold Ray Peggs, Jr. and Donald Lee Peggs, two brothers Andy Mickles and James Thomas Mickles. Anna is survived by two sons Thomas Peggs and wife, Barbara of Dryden, VA and Timothy Peggs and wife, Sheila of the Lovelady Gap Community, five grandchildren Kayla, Dustin, Charlotte, Rebecca and Laurie. She is also survived by a brother Roy Mickles and wife, Geneva of Wise, VA and five sisters Clona Dollar of Dryden, VA, Betty Ruth Hamilton and husband, Jessie of Norton, VA, Virginia Smith and husband, Bud of Bristol, TN, Virdie Barlow of Kingsport, TN and Eula Mutter and husband, Sam of Bristol, TN. A private burial will be held at the 3:00 PM Wednesday at the Pennington Memorial Cemetery in Pennington Gap, VA.
