She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Vowell, two sons Rodney Vowell and Mark Vowell, one brother Jimmy Orr and one sister Patricia Robbins. Amelia is survived by her daughter-in-law Melinda Vowell of Pennington Gap, VA, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and the apple of her eye little Colton. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Skeens Cemetery in Big Stone Gap, VA with Tim Long officiating.
