Alice Fern Kirby Durfey, 68, of Pennington Gap passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at her residence.

Alice was born on June 25, 1955 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Charles and Iris Grogan Kirby.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Lee Kirby, David Jack Kirby, and Charles Kirby Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Randy Kirby and wife Debbie; sisters, Lawana Napier and Kelly Rogers; along with several nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes there will be no formal services.
